What do you pay for my gold jewellery?
The price we will pay your for your gold jewellery is dependant on a number of things. We can certainly give you an approximate quotation should you either contact us via our enquiry form or call us. Our quotation prior to assaying your gold jewellery is only approximate as it is reliant on the information you provide us.
When do you determine the final price that you will offer to me for the purchase of my gold jewellery?
We will make an offer to you within one business day of receiving your gold jewellery. Following the receipt of your parcel, we will assay and weigh your gold jewellery. You will then be contacted either by phone or email with our offer. Should you accept our offer a written copy of this will be forwarded to you and a written acceptance of our offer is required from yourself.
What happens if I don’t accept your offer?
We will need you to confirm your delivery address, and we will send your gold jewellery back to you fully insured. Your gold jewellery will be fully insured at the value that we offered to purchase your gold jewellery from you.
What happens if I don’t have any scales to weigh my parcel before sending this to you?
If you don’t have any scales, you could ask the Post Office or courier if they are able to weigh your parcel and write the weight on the parcel. There are no problems if you are unable to confirm the weight of your parcel; however, we prefer this so we can match the incoming weight recorded on the parcel with the weight of the parcel when we receive it.
I am unsure of what purity or type of gold that I have?
There is no problem if you are unable to determine the carat or purity of the gold. We recommend that you write as best of a description of the items you are sending on the declaration form. We will test everything and let you know what the purity and carat of the gold jewellery is. Please be aware that gold purity stamps that are found on jewellery are sometimes erroneous or fraudulent.
What happens if I send items that are not gold?
Any items that we receive that are not gold or below 9ct, we will return to you along with and any other item that you choose not too sell to us. Please do not send items that you know are not gold.
How do I get paid?
